Superstar Rajinikanth was last seen on screen in Petta directed by Karthik Subbaraj and has completed shooting for his next movie Darbar which is directed by AR Murugadoss and is getting ready for a Pongal release.

It has been said that Rajnikanth's next movie will be directed by Siva and that Rajni might enter active politics and launch his political party after Siva movie. Now senior actor and Rajni's costar in many movies, Radha Ravi has spoken on Rajni's political growth.

Radha Ravi has said that Rajnikanth will become the chief minister and lead the state, joining the ADMK - BJP alliance. He said that he'll support Rajni and stand with him when he contests election for becoming chief minister. He added that while Rajni takes time to make decisions, it'll be correct decisions and soon he'll enter politics.
