Now, the latest is that Suriya took to his social media handles a while ago to officially confirm his next with director Siruthai Siva and music composer Devi Sri Prasad. The acclaimed actor posted a photo of himself with Siruthai Siva and DSP from the movie's pooja ceremony. Sharing the picture, he captioned, "Shoot begins..! Need all your blessings..!! #Suriya42" (sic).

Produced by UV Creations and Studio Green, the shooting of 'Suriya 42' has commenced in Chennai. This film will be made in two parts on a massive budget with Disha Patani playing the female lead. The first schedule will continue in Chennai for a week. Then, the team will move to Goa in mid-September & the filming will happen for 25 days.

'Suriya 42' will be a pan-Indian movie and will be released in 10 languages. The movie has Vetri Palanisamy as cinematographer and Milan as art director. Supreme Sundar will take care of the action choreography. Siruthai Siva's associate Adi Narayana will serve as the writer of the movie while Madhan Karky is in charge of the dialogues.
