Actor Prithvi is the second son of the veteran actor-director Pandiarajan. He starred as a lead in a few films and also as a supporting actor in Vijay Sethupathi's 'Laabam' and 'DSP'. He took part in the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) representing the Chennai Rhinos and won acclaim for his cricketing prowess.
Prithvi combines his two great loves – cinema and cricket – in his latest project, 'Blue Star'. This upcoming film is a cricket-based sports drama directed by the newcomer S Jayakumar with Ashok Selvan, Keerthi Pandian and Shanthnu in the lead roles. Produced by director Pa Ranjith under Neelam Productions, the release is scheduled for January 25th.
Prithvi says, “I believe that Blue Star is a unique film that will appeal to everyone, whether they love cricket or not. There are multiple layers to the story as it explores the lives of the characters. I’m grateful to director Jayakumar, producers Ganesh Murthy and G Soundarya of Lemon Leaf Creations, and Pa Ranjith sir for the opportunity to play Sam. I look forward to watching the film on the big screen with the audience. I hope they will enjoy Blue Star as much as I enjoyed being part of it.”
Prithvi Pandiarajan plays Sam, Ashok Selvan's younger brother, in 'Blue Star' while actress Dhivya Duraisamy is paired opposite him. The technical team comprises Govind Vasantha as the music composer, Selva RK as the editor, Thamizh Azhagan as the cinematographer, Jayaguru as the art director and Stunner Sam as the stunt director.
