Kollywood was sent into unbearable grief last night as the news of the sudden death of Dr. Sethuraman hit out of the blue. The 36-year-old had done three movies as hero 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaya' , 'Valiba Raja' and '50/50' all costarring Santhanam who is a close friend of his.
Dr. Sethuraman a renowned dermatolgist in the city looked hale and healthy last evening when he shot a coronavirus awareness video in which he has emphasized social distancing and has requested to be careful if there are elders in the house. He has also called attention on the incubation period of the virus which five to eight days or even fourteen days when there might not be any symptoms and then develop into the widespread disease.
Dr. Sethu using the word finally requests the listeners to stay indoors and be united in staying separated (social distancing) and emotionally asks the people to thank and repay the doctors, paramedics, nurses, social workers, drivers and others who are risking their lives for others.
Truly a socially conscious gesture by Dr. Sethu that too shot only three days back and his face or body language does not suggest any semblance of ailments and its truly cruel that a cardiac arrest has snatched him away so soon. Sethu is survived by his wife Umayal who he married three years back.
