As has been rumoured, 'Acharya' won't be hitting the screens on February 4. Matinee Entertainment and Konidela Production House on Saturday attributed the postponement to the third wave of the coronavirus pandemic.
A new release date will be announced soon.
The film stars Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan in the lead. Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hegde are its heroines. The Koratala Siva directorial has been repeatedly postponed due to the pandemic. It was supposed to hit the screens in 2020 itself.
In all likelihood, 'Acharya' will be released in March or April.
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi has rubbished the rumour that he is seeking a Rajya Sabha entry with the help of YCP's support. "I am not going to re-enter politics. Neither am I seeking an entry into any legislative body," Chiru said yesterday.
