Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta’s 25-year-old daughter Ira Khan got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Nupur Shikhare. Ira shared a romantic video of the proposal while announcing her engagement on Instagram.

“Popeye: She said yes. Ira: Hehe I said yes,” she captioned the video. The short clip shows Nupur getting down on one knee with a ring in his hand and asking Ira to marry him. The duo then celebrate this huge step in their lives with an adorable kiss. The post was flooded with congratulatory messages from friends from the cine industry as well as her followers. Nupur Shikhare shared numerous pictures from the occasion on his Instagram stories as well. Ira and Nupur, who have been dating for a few years, often express their love for one another on social media.

Ira Khan had earlier spoken about how Nupur’s presence in her life helped her in dealing with anxiety. In one of her Instagram posts, she said, “But while it’s building, talking to Popeye (Nupur) and breathing has helped make it not come to an attack. At least for a few hours. It also depends on if I get re-stressed by another stimulus later. Life’s full of variables. If you’re trying to be mindful, remember to take them all into account.”
