The Isaipuyal A.R. Rahman and Thalapathy Vijay combo has powered the "Aalaporaan Thamizhan" son into the 100 million club on YouTube.  The song is from 2017's blockbuster hit 'Mersal' directed by Atlee and produced by Sri Thenandal Studios.  The film starred Vijay, Nithya Menen, Samantha and Kajal Agarwal in the lead roles.

The same team of Vijay, A..R.Rahman, Atlee and the other crew members of 'Mersal' namely T. Muthuraj, G.K.Vishnu, Ruben and Vivek are once again working in the ongoing 'Thalapathy 63' which hits the screens on Diwali this year.
