Isaipuyal A.R. Rahman apart from his busy schedule of composing music also gives time for mentoring young music talents and expanding his horizons by writing, co-directing and producing films as well. He has currently agreed to be the super guru on a musical based television reality show The Voice which will air soon on Star Plus.

ARR has stated on the show that it would be great if heroes and heroines of Indian cinema could sing their own songs and act like in Hollywood. But his advice is for them to take proper coaching before attempting it. The maestro doubted that it is possible here as the leading men and ladies are super busy juggling dates and commitments to various projects. Rahman, however, feels that if they do allow time to get trained and sing it would be a new experience for them as well as fans.
