The two massive pillars of Tamil cinema, Superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, are set to share the screen after several decades. This monumental announcement was officially made by Red Giant Movies.

Following a preliminary announcement yesterday at 7:12 PM, Red Giant Movies thrilled fans today by releasing a new poster. The poster confirms that a promo video for the film will be released tomorrow (Saturday, February 21) at 12:07 PM.

Note: The timing of 12:07 is a clever tribute, combining Rajinikanth’s birth date (12) and Kamal Haasan’s birth month (7 – November).

In addition to its social media release, the promo video will be screened in selected theaters across Chennai and other major cities, allowing fans to celebrate this historic moment together.

Director: Reports suggest that Nelson Dilipkumar will helm the project following the massive success of Jailer.

Music: “Rockstar” Anirudh Ravichander is expected to compose the film’s soundtrack.

Background: The duo last acted together in the 1979 film Alavuddinum Arputha Vilakkum (though Kamal made a cameo in Rajini’s Thillu Mullu). They are now reuniting in full-fledged roles after approximately 47 years.
