The trailer of the web show '9 Hours' is out. Created by Krish Jagarlamudi and scripted by directors Niranjan Kaushik and Jacob Verghese, the series will stream on Disney+Hotstar from June 2.

Starring Taraka Ratna as a cop, '9 Hours' is a race against time. Also seen in other key roles are Ajay, Vinod Kumar, Madhu Shalini, Ravi Varma, Preethi Asrani, Ankith Koyya, Jwala Koti, and Monica Reddy, the story of the series is set in the 1990s.

As for the story, three prisoners on run try to rob three banks. They are well-prepared and know how to run away with the booty. Is someone handling them from behind the screens? This leaves Taraka Ratna's cop character perplexed.

"It looks like all are connected," says Vinod Kumar. Preethi Asrani's character is seen saying that hostages are being killed one after one. Gunfights and action sequences keep the drama afloat.

To be streamed in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, '9 Hours' has music by Shakthi Kanth Karthick and cinematography by Manojh Reddy. Rajkumar Gibson Talari and Dharmendra Kakarla have done the production design and editing, respectively.
