ZEE5 Telugu Unveils Power-Packed Slate of Originals, Films & Fan-Favourite Shows

ZEE5 Telugu has announced an exciting new content slate, reinforcing its commitment to delivering premium Telugu entertainment. As part of ZEE5’s biggest multilingual content showcase ever, the platform has unveiled a strong line-up of original series, blockbuster films and returning fan-favourite shows that promise to entertain audiences over the coming months.
The Telugu slate features a diverse mix of originals and highly anticipated films, highlighting ZEE5’s continued focus on authentic, culturally rooted storytelling.
Leading the original series line-up is Shrimathi, starring Nivetha Thomas in the lead role. Also joining the slate is the courtroom drama Objection Mylord, headlined by veteran actor Srikanth, which is expected to deliver an intense legal thriller.
Adding to the excitement, ZEE5 Telugu is bringing back its hugely popular celebrity talk show Jayammu Nishchayammu Ra with an all-new season, expanding the platform’s successful unscripted entertainment offerings.

The Telugu announcements are part of ZEE5’s most ambitious multilingual content initiative to date. The streaming platform revealed a massive entertainment slate spanning seven Indian languages Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi and Bangla covering original web series, blockbuster films, live sports, AI-powered storytelling, animation and kids’ entertainment.
Speaking about the new slate, Tejkarran Singh Bajaj, Business Head of ZEE5 India, said the platform aims not just to follow the entertainment industry but to shape its future. He noted that the newly announced content slate reflects ZEE5’s biggest commitment yet towards creating bold, unconventional stories while simultaneously investing in advanced technology, richer user experiences and deeper personalisation for viewers.
Echoing the vision, Raghavendra Hunsur, Chief Content Officer at Zee, said every project in the slate has been carefully selected with a clear purpose. According to him, ZEE5 is focused on delivering stories that are bold, distinctive and capable of connecting with audiences across languages, genres and cultures, rather than simply increasing the volume of content.
With premium originals like Shrimathi and Objection Mylord, the return of Jayammu Nishchayammu Ra, and much-awaited films such as Venky Anil 5, NBK111 and Vrushakarma, ZEE5 Telugu is significantly expanding its entertainment portfolio.
