ZEE Telugu Invites Aspiring Writers For Hyderabad Writers Room Auditions

ZEE Telugu, known for backing entertaining, engaging, and rooted content on television, is now aiming to nurture new-age storytellers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Staying true to ZEE’s “Yours Truly, Z” philosophy, ZEE Telugu has introduced the “Z Writers Room” initiative, which aims to identify, mentor, and groom fresh writing talent that can contribute to its expanding universe of content across television, OTT, and films. The Hyderabad edition of the Z Writers Room auditions will be conducted on August 30, Saturday.

The “Z Writers Room” initiative is designed to act as a bridge between raw and budding storytellers and the professional screenwriting world. By tapping into the creativity of writers from the Telugu states, Zee Telugu looks to nurture authentic and rooted voices that can bring depth and diversity to its upcoming projects. In these screenwriting auditions, participants will undergo a written test, and those who qualify will progress to further rounds of evaluation. Selected writers will get a chance to join the writers’ room, where they will be mentored by the industry experts and will also contribute their ideas for the upcoming serials, web series, and films of ZEE.
