Come June 29, it’s going to be a big busy Friday. ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi’, ‘Shambo Shankara’, ‘Naa Love Story’, ‘Sanjeevani’ and other releases are up for release.
Mohan Lal’s ‘Yuddha Bhoomi’ is one of the big releases. The dubbed version of ‘1971 Beyond Borders’ (Malayalam), the war film will be releasing in around 400 screens, the makers say.
Written and directed by Major Ravi, it has Allu Sirish in a key role. AN Balaji is producing the film in Telugu.
“The director comes with an experience of serving the Indian Army. He has worked with top directors like Priyadarshan, Rajkumar Santhoshi, Kamal Hassan and Mani Ratnam. He had previously done ‘Kurukshetra’, ‘Kandahar’, and ‘Karma Yodha’ with Mohan Lal,” the makers say. Siddhartha Vipin is the music director, while M Rajashekar Reddy has penned the Telugu version’s dialogues.
