Hollywood hero Hugh Jackman, who has been a part of hits like The Prestige, Van Helsing, Swordfish, Australia, Real Steel and Prisoners, is better known and extremely popular for playing the Marvel superhero Wolverine, in the X-Men franchise movies and the Wolverine standalone movies.
The actor, who was last seen in the Greatest Showman, has been given a Guinness record certificate for his record of longest career as a live action Marvel superhero, spanning 16 years and 228 days, and this record is jointly held by his X-Men costar Sir Patrick Stewart, who plays Professor Charles Xavier in the series.
They began with X-Men(2000) and were last seen together in Logan(2017). Hugh Jackman, surprised by the Guinness record reaching him, revealed that he had always wanted to reach the book of records and in his childhood he tried the record of most coins snatched on elbow, and then aimed longest singles badminton marathon both of which couldn't work, and he has finally achieved it with his most popular role Wolverine. Hugh Jackman will be featured in Guinness Book of World Records 2020.
