‘Witness’ Trailer: This SonyLIV drama is emotional!

Shraddha Srinath of ‘Jersey’ fame is back. She will next be seen in ‘Witness’, to be streamed on SonyLIV from December 9 in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam.

Its trailer was released today. Helmed by Deepak and produced by happening Tollywood producer TG Vishwa Prasad under People Media Factory, the film is a social drama. Vivek Kuchibhotla is co-produced

Starring Rohini Molleti in the role of a marginalized woman fighting for justice, ‘Witness’ seems to tell the tale of how the real estate sector is in cahoots with the powers-that-be to silence the deaths of manual scavengers.

Both Rohini and Shraddha have got full-fledged roles. The former, who was recently seen in a relatively light role in the SonyLIV anthology ‘Meet Cute’, is a defiant mother who has help from the conscientious activist-type character played by Shraddha.

Also starring Subatra Robert, Shanmuga Raja, Azhagam Perumal, G Selva, Rajeev Anand, Tamilarasan, Srinath, the film has music by Ramesh Tamilmani.
