Naga Chaitanya and Maruthi are looking forward to the release of 'Shailaja Reddy Alludu' in a few hours from now (Sept 13). This family-comedy entertainer, which uses an old formula but offers a new story (as per the makers), is coming from the stable of Sithara Entertainments.
On the business front, this one is the most important one in Chay's career. Reason? The film needs to make more than Rs. 25 Cr to be able to break even at the box-office. For perspective, 'SRA' should turn out to be the greatest hit in the Akkineni hero's career.
On the back of Maruthi's name, 'SRA' has fetched impressive pre-release figures. The 'mass' factor, the Ramya Krishna factor, the comedy elements - these are also expected to see the film through.
As it releases amid optimism, the Chay-Maruthi duo must be keeping their fingers crossed.
