It’s known that WhatsApp has been planning to launch a feature that will let its users use the instant messaging app on more than one mobile device simultaneously. The news is that WhatsApp is not floating the feature for now. While it’s soon going to introduce a feature that allows the users to use WhatsApp on five devices, only one of them can be a mobile phone (be it Android or iPhone).

The multi-device support feature will allow WhatsApp to be used on multiple devices simultaneously without one device needing to be connected to the web. As per a leaked report, only WhatsApp Web, desktop and Facebook’s Portal devices will support the feature initially.
For now, Android and iOS-based devices will have to wait.
A few other features are going to be up soon. The ‘disappearing mode’ feature will be enabled for all WA chats at once. A ‘View Once’ feature is also coming up. After the recipient views a text message or photo once, it will disappear automatically. The user can save it by taking a screenshot, though. A ‘Review Voice Message’ feature will also be rolled out in due course of time.
