Husharu 2 Teaser: Cult Boys’ Tequila Dream Turns Into a Wild Adventure

The gang that won over youngsters with Husharu is back, and this time, their ambitions are bigger, their troubles are messier, and their adventure takes an unexpected turn. The teaser of Husharu 2 has been unveiled, offering a glimpse into a chaotic journey that blends friendship, humour and unpredictable twists.

Written and directed by Sree Harsha Konuganti, who helmed the 2018 youth entertainer Husharu, the sequel follows five friends determined to make a fresh start after losing everything during the COVID period. Moving beyond their earlier beer venture, the boys dream of establishing what they envision as India’s first agave-based tequila distillery.

Their business ambitions take them to Chittragunj, where the pursuit of success soon turns into a series of unexpected complications. The teaser hints at mounting trouble, a desperate escape into the forest and a chain of events that pushes the gang into unfamiliar territory. With its quirky premise and chaotic situations, the glimpse promises another dose of the irreverent humour associated with the franchise.

R. Narayana Murthy’s Surprise Entry Steals the Spotlight

The biggest talking point arrives towards the end of the teaser, with the introduction of veteran actor and filmmaker R. Narayana Murthy. His appearance adds a special dimension to the sequel, marking his first film as an actor under the direction of another filmmaker. While the teaser keeps his character under wraps, his presence has certainly raised curiosity about the role he plays in the boys’ adventure.

The film features an ensemble cast including Rahul Ramakrishna, Ashok Galla, Ravi Anthony, Dinesh Tej, Sasidhar Kocharlakota, Vidhi Yadhav, Abhignya Vuthuluru, Bhagwan Tiwari, Jatin Goswami and Rajai Rowan.

Produced by Rahul Varma, K. Veena Rani and K. Hanumant Raju, with Komatireddy Sharan Reddy as co-producer, Husharu 2 is backed by Caveman Stories, HK Films and Kaliyuga Vaaradha Creations.

G. Srinivas Reddy handles cinematography, while Sunny M.R. serves as the music director, with additional music by Ram Miryala. Vijay Vardhan Kavuri takes care of editing, and Srikanth Ramisetty oversees art direction.

With major shooting schedules completed, the film is currently in post-production and is targeting a year-end theatrical release.

The teaser sets up an entertaining mix of entrepreneurial dreams, friendship and unforeseen trouble. Whether the cult boys can turn their tequila venture into a success remains to be seen, but Husharu 2 appears ready to take their misadventures to an entirely new level.
