HD Kumaraswamy, the former Chief Minister of Karnataka, called on Power Star Pawan Kalyan at the latter's residence moments ago. They exchanged pleasantries and were engaged in discussion for sometime. Post the interaction, they took questions from the media and made it a point to clarify that it was an apolitical meeting.
Kumaraswamy, on his part, said that he was there to seek the blessings of Pawan for his son Nikhil, who is debuting with a film titled 'Jaguar', made on a huge budget of Rs. 70 cr. "Our meeting is not of political nature. For many years now, we have had cordial relations. I am here to seek his blessings for my son ahead of his debut movie's release. The people of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka are like brothers", the former CM said.
On his part, Pawan repeated that there was no political significance to their meeting. "We discussed only on Nikhil's entry. We have had a special relationship", Pawan said. The actor, on being asked whether he will take a holy dip during the 'Pushkarams' said that he has no plans to do that.
