VV Vinayak turns a main lead!

As per some unconfirmed reports, VV Vinayak is all set to don the greasepaint.  He is set to be the male lead of a film to be directed by Narasimha Rao.  In all likelihood, it’s going to be an offbeat film with a social theme.

It’s learned that the untitled flick, whose hero will be a village-based middle-aged man, will be produced by ace producer Dil Raju.  It may be recalled that Vinayak’s association with the producer dates back to 2003 when ‘Dil’ gave Raju a huge fillip.

After ‘Khaidi No. 150’ (2016) with Chiranjeevi, Vinayak did the unthinkable by making ‘Intelligent’ with Sai Dharam Tej.  It was a huge disaster.  The director of such mass hits as ‘Aadi’, ‘Tagore’, ‘Adhurs’ and ‘Naayak’ was never expected to turn a male lead.  He was seen in a bit role in ‘Tagore’.
