VV Vinayak’s disciple Shivakumar turns director with ’22’

VV Vinayak’s protege, Shivakumar B, is debuting as a director in Tollywood. Titled ’22’, the project was launched today in Hyderabad.  Starring Rupesh and Salonee in the lead, the film’s regular shooting has begun.

Speaking on the occasion, Vinayak said that he is proud of the new director.  “He is highly dedicated and greatly passionate.  People might believe that he got this chance to direct the movie because of his father, BA Raju garu.  But that’s not true.  He impressed the producers with his story and bagged the opportunity,” the ‘Khaidi No. 150’ director said.

Producer C Kalyan said that B Jaya must be feeling happy wherever she is.  “It was her wish to see her son as a director,” he said.

The film also features Vikramjit Singh, Jayaprakash, Rajeshwari Nayar, Ravi Varma, Amit Tiwari and others.  Music is by Sai Kartheek and cinematography is by Ravi Kiran.
