As the highly anticipated mythological epic Kannappa gears up for its grand release on June 27, lead actor and producer Vishnu Manchu has completed a deeply personal and spiritual vow — visiting all twelve Jyotirlingas across India. The journey concluded today with his darshan at Srisailam’s Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Vishnu shared his emotions:
“My heart is full. My soul feels blessed. Life right now is filled with nothing but positivity, gratitude, and peace. As I stand at the edge of this spiritual milestone, I now look forward to the next chapter – Kannappa. A film close to my heart. A story that reflects the very spirit I carry today. Har Har Mahadev.”
Vishnu also posted photos from the temple, where he was seen in a devotional mood, seeking blessings from Lord Shiva ahead of the film’s worldwide release.
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa is a lavishly mounted dream project backed by Mohan Babu under the AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory banners. The film boasts a powerhouse ensemble featuring Mohan Babu, Akshay Kumar, Prabhas, Mohanlal, Kajal Aggarwal, and Preity Mukundan. Music is composed by Stephen Devassy and Mani Sharma.
With powerful visuals, deep-rooted devotion, and star-studded appeal, Kannappa is all set to be a grand cinematic spectacle this Friday.
