Kollywood star hero Vishal has been promoting 'Laati' in both Telugu and Tamil. The film, where he plays a constable, hits the screens this Thursday.

The news is that the 'Abhimanyudu' and 'Detective' actor is said to be planning to meet Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy on December 27 in Vijayawada.

There are speculations that the meeting is political in nature. The actor is a self-confessed supporter of Jagan. He supported YCP's victory in 2019.

In a recent interview, Vishal said that he is not contesting against Nara Chandrababu Naidu in Kuppam in the 2024 Assembly elections. Vishal and his father have got businesses in Kuppam. He knows the town inside out.

'Laati' is one of the most action films he has ever done. The film has got a 45-minute episode set in a building. The schedule took 90 days to be completed.
