Actor Vishal, after visiting the Kalikambal Temple in Chennai, addressed reporters and expressed his stance on certain issues. When asked about YouTubers speaking negatively about him and other celebrities, Vishal said, “Some people make extreme assumptions about my health. It is inappropriate to talk about the personal lives of actors and actresses. You also have daughters and wives. Keep that in mind before acting irresponsibly.”
He further added, “Just to earn money through views, criticizing others wrongly can’t be accepted. You have the right to comment on whether a movie is good or not, but nobody has the right to discuss someone’s personal life. Some people talk disrespectfully, and I simply cannot tolerate it. This must stop.”
Regarding participation in the 2026 elections, Vishal replied, “I will share details in November or December. Every matter has its time. Right now, I am focused on my films. I sincerely hope I don’t have to enter politics. If existing politicians do good work, there’s no need for us (actors) to step into politics. After 70 years of independence, basic facilities like drinking water and proper roads are still lacking in some villages. If these issues are resolved, actors like us can continue focusing on our craft. Politicians themselves encourage actors to enter politics by neglecting their responsibilities.”
