Ajith and Vijay’s Phone Call Explained by Suresh Chandra Exclusive

Recently, the Padma Awards for 2025 were announced on the occasion of the 76th Republic Day. Actor Ajith Kumar received the Padma Bhushan award in recognition of his significant contribution to cinema over his 30-year career. Currently, Ajith is competing in car races in Dubai, with his team achieving third place in the “24H Car Race,” earning widespread praise. He is expected to focus on car racing until October, following which he will resume acting full-time.

As news of Ajith’s award and his team’s racing victory spread, many from the film industry and other circles congratulated him. However, rumors began circulating on social media that actor Vijay, a close friend of Ajith, had not congratulated him on either occasion. This sparked questions like, “Did Vijay not feel like congratulating him?” and “Did Vijay not have the time?”

When asked about these rumors, Ajith’s manager, Suresh Chandra, clarified with a smile, saying, “These claims are entirely baseless. Vijay was among the first to congratulate Ajith Sir on his racing victory. Similarly, when the Padma Bhushan award was announced, Vijay Sir also congratulated him. Both share a genuine and heartfelt friendship. So, there is no truth to the claim that Vijay Sir didn’t extend his wishes.”
