The Nadigar Sangam elections are being planned and last week the retired judge Padmanabhan was announced as the election commissioner for the elections with the documents for the same being submitted by previous president actor Nasser. The date and venue of the elections are expected to be announced soon by Padmanabhan.

It has been said that Pandavar Ani - Nasser, Vishal and Karthi will be yet again contesting the elections for the roles of President, Secretary and Treasurer, and at the other end, RK Suresh, Udhaya and many others are forming teams to counter Vishal. An issue of selling of a land in Vedamangalam belonging to Nadigar Sangam, involving Sarathkumar and Radharavi had lead to cancellation of their memberships from the Sangam recently.

Court has ordered enquiry on this case with Sarathkumar and Radharavi, and in such a situation, it has been said that Vishal has met Radhika and Sarathkumar recently. It has been reported that Vishal and Radhika - Sarathkumar met over lunch at a five star hotel and discussed for a while. With the Nadigar Sangam and producers council elections planned soon, this meeting of the rivals has been considered significant.
