"Ignorance is the source of fear. Fear is the reason behind superstition. What if that belief turns out to be true? And what if that truth is beyond our knowledge?" Jr NTR's voice says in the title reveal teaser for 'Virupaksha', Sai Dharam Tej's 15th movie. The film is set in the backdrop of a temple town. 

The title of the movie literally means "eyes without form" in Hinduism. Referring to Lord Shiva, the title is imbued with religious meaning and allegory. Touted to be Sai Tej's breakout film, this one has its screenplay written by star director Sukumar. 

The mystical thriller, written and directed by Karthik Dandu, is produced by BVSN Prasad. With music by B Ajaneesh Loknath and cinematography by Shamdat, the film stars Samyuktha Menon as the heroine. 

We see the 'Republic' actor standing like a towering shield protecting something from a mob. There is a hint of mystique. 

To be released in theatres on April 21, 2023, the film is a pan-India release: Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
