Vinod Kambli’s wife beats up singer’s father

Former cricketer Vinod Kambli’s wife, Andrea Hewitt, is alleged to have assaulted a man at Mumbai’s Inorbit mall on Sunday The man is the father of singer Ankit Tiwari.  

The victim was beaten up by Kambli’s wife with her sandals (slippers).  Even his younger son was injured by Kambli’s bodyguards, a report says.  

Why did Kambli’s wife do the assault?  As per her own claim, the victim (that’s, singer Ankit Tiwari’s father) brushed his hand against her on purpose. This was seen by her as a case of groping.  

Kambli, presenting his wife’s point, took to Twitter to say this: “Some miscreant tried to touch my wife inappropriately. When questioned, he brought his sons and tried to come to blows. Sadly, women safety on the question once again.”  

As per latest reports, police are looking into the matter.
