Vikram starrer ‘Chiyaan 61’ shooting to commence on this date?

Chiyaan Vikram’s recent release ‘Cobra’ gained a mixed response from the audience and is going steadily in the theatres. Meanwhile, the actor is currently busy working on the patch works of Gautham Menon’s ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’. He has also begun his next ‘Chiyaan 61’, directed by Pa Ranjith with a pooja ceremony.

The latest is that director Pa Ranjith has started the pre-production works for ‘Chiyaan 61’. With the pre-production work going on at a brisk pace, the shooting of the film is planned to start in October 2022. In a recent interview with a popular Tamil magazine, Pa Ranjith revealed that the pre-production work is going on and that the filming will begin soon. This film is set against the backdrop of the Kolar Gold Field mines (KGF mines).

Tenma or GV Prakash is expected to compose the musical score. The upcoming movie is said to be a period drama from the 1800s and will be made on a grand scale. He also revealed that the team is planning to shoot in 3D as well, which will be a visual treat for the audience. Gnanavel Raja is bankrolling ‘Chiyaan 61’ under the banner Studio Green.
