Actress Vijayalakshmi had debuted with Chennai 600028, and later went on to act in many movies like Anjathey, Athe Neram Athe Idam, Katrathu Kalavu, Chennai 600028 IInd innings and many other movies, and had appeared last year in the second season of Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan's Bigg Boss show.

The actress is an active user of Twitter, and yesterday, post the IPL first qualifier match between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians,  which Mumbai won, a Twitter user, who happens to be a fan of Vijay and Suriya, had tweeted CSK to get off, and that they will lose even if they reach finals by winning qualifier 2.

Vijayalakshmi had responded to the tweet, that the user speaks Tamil, and claims to be a fan of  Vijay and Suriya, and yet he is a Mumbai fan, and added that CSK will reach the final and then will speak, till then Mumbai fans can speak. Following Vijayakshmi's tweet, there are mixed responses, with some supporting her, and some questioning why people from TN can't be Mumbai fans, and quoted just like there are Dhoni fans in TN, there can be Sachin fans as well.
