Vijay Sethupathi for the past few years has been maintaining the record of starring in the most number of movies amongst all leading heroes. In the recent past he has widened his horizon and is acting in a number of Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi films too making him one of the busiest stars in pan Indian cinema.

One of the Makkal Selvan's films 'Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir' was completed a couple of years back but its release was stalled due to the coronavirus pandemic among other reasons. Today on the auspicious occassion of Vijaya Dhasami it has been officially announced that the intense musical drama will hit the screens worldwide in December this year.

'Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir' is directed by Venkatakrishna Rohanth a former associate of the late filmmaker S.P. Jananathan with music by Nivas K Prasanna and is produced by Chandaraa Arts Essakki Durai. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi, Megha Akash, Riythvika, Mohan Raja, Magizh Thirumeni, Chinni Jayanth and the late Vivek.
