Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, many movies which had initially planned a theatrical release opted to have a direct OTT release and recently it was announced that Vijay Sethupathi, Aishwarya Rajesh starrer Ka Pae Ranasingam will have an OTT release.

Ka Pae Ranasingam will be releasing on October 2, on the pay per view platform Zee Plex and now following this, another movie of Vijay Sethupathi has also reportedly targeted an OTT premiere.

Mamanithan, the long awaited movie of Vijay Sethupathi directed by Seenu Ramasamy is planning to have a direct OTT release and reportedly the makers are in talks with Zee5 to sell the streaming rights. While an official clarification is awaited, it must be noted that Mamanithan also stars Gayathrie and has music by Ilayaraja and Yuvan Shankar Raja.
