Vijay Sethupathi signs a brand new movie with Simbu’s director

For a few years now Vijay Sethupathi has been churning out the most number of movies and this year too it is the same as ‘Oru Nalla Naal Paarthu Solren’, ‘Junga’ and ‘Imaikka Nodigal’ has already released.  Three of his films ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ (September 28th), ’96’ and ‘Seethakathi’ will hit the screens one after the other before December.

Vijay Sethupathi has signed a brand new movie to be directed by Vijay Chander of Simbu’s ‘Vaalu’ and Vikram’s ‘Sketch’ fame.  A pooja was conducted on September 6th and the pre-production work has begun with shooting scheduled to start in February 2019. The crew has Velraj handling the camera, Praveen KL the editing, Anal Arasu the stunts.  The leading lady and the rest of the cast and crew details will be out soon.  

The project is bankrolled by the legendary production house Vijaya Productions who are in business for the past seven decades collaborating with superstars NTR, Gemini Ganesan, Kamal Haasan and  Rajinikanth.  In the new millennium the films from this stable are Dhanush’s ‘Padikadhavan’ and ‘Vengai’, Vishal’s ‘Thamirabarani’, Ajith’s ‘Veeram’ and Vijay’s ‘Bhairavaa’.
