Vijay Sethupathi's new movie with 'Kantara' connection goes on floors

Vijay Sethupathi one of the busiest pan Indian stars in recent times has bee concentrating on his Bollywood projects and villain roles. Today a very interesting new Tamil project of his has gone on floors with a 'Kantara' connection and an ensemble cast.
The Makkal Selvan's new untitled film is directed by Nithilan Swaminathan of 'Kurangu Bommai' fame. B. Ajaneesh Loknath who scored music for the critically acclaimed blockbuster 'Kantara' is on board. He is a big name in Kannada cinema and has earlier worked with the director's debut movie and also in Udhayanidhi Stalin's 'Nimir'.
The VJS- Nithilan Swaminthan project is bankrolled by Passion Studios and has an ensemble cast that includes 'Boys' Manikandan, Natty Natraj, Arul Doss and Muniskanth. Cinematography is Dinesh Purushothaman, editing by Philomin Raj while Selva Kumar is in charge of the art direction.
The hunt is on for the heroine and talks are going on with a few leading heroes to play the main villain. It is said to be an edge of the seat thriller on the lines of 'Kurangu Bommai' about an innocent man turning bad due to bad connections.
