We all know that Vijay Sethupathi's 50th film, 'Maharaja,' hit the screens last month and became a blockbuster. Directed by Nithilan Swaminathan, this suspense crime thriller marked Vijay Sethupathi's triumphant return to the box office as a solo hero.

"Maharaja" grossed more than 100 crores at the box office officially. Today, the film's OTT release was announced officially. The streaming giant, Netflix, will premiere the highly anticipated film on July 12th in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. The announcement was accompanied by a poster and a new trailer for the OTT fans.

The film stars Vijay Sethupathi in the title role, alongside Anurag Kashyap, Sachana Namidass, Mamta Mohandas, Natty Natraj, Abhirami, Aruldoss, Munishkanth, Manikandan, Singampuli, Bharathiraja and others. Ajaneesh Loknath composed the musical score for 'Maharaja,' which has cinematography by Dinesh Purushothaman and editing by Philomin Raj.
