As we had reported earlier the film 'Rekka' has been launched today (May 6) with a formal Pooja. The film, directed by Rathnasiva of 'Vaa Deal' fame will have Vijay Sethupathi and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles. Sathish has been added to the star cast and this is his first with Vijay Sethupathi.

The film will be produced by Ganesh of Common Man Pictures banner, who producer the critically acclaimed 'Orange Mittai' along with Vijay Sethupathi.

'Rekka' will have musical score by D.Imman. The names other cast and crew members will be officially announced soon before commencement of shooting.

Vijay Sethupathi is the busiest hero in Ktwon. he has completed shooting for 'Dharmadurai' of director Seenu Ramasamy and 'Iraivi' directed by Karthik Subbaraj. He is presently shooting for 'Aandavan Kattalai' directed by Manikandan of 'Kaaka Muttai' fame. The shooting of this film has reached its final stages.
