Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi's next project Ka.Pae.Ranasingam was launched officially before two days, and the movie has begun shooting in Ramanathapuram now. This movie is directed by debutant maker Virumandi, and is produced by KJR Studios.

As per reports, the movie is set in Dubai, and will have Vijay Sethupathi playing the title role Ranasingam, while Aishwarya Rajesh plays his wife. This movie will have Vijay Sethupathi reportedly in an extended cameo appearance, and is said to be based on a true story.

Ka.Pae.Ranasingam also stars Bhavani Sre as another female lead and has music by Ghibran. The movie is said to feature three action sequences which will be choreographed by Peter Hein, and Vairamuthu will be penning the lyrics. Sudarshan Srinivasan is the cinematographer of Ka.pae.Ranasingam.
