While the shooting of Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film Jananayagan is progressing rapidly, the film’s pre-release business has already reached staggering numbers.
Reports reveal that Amazon Prime Video has acquired the digital rights of the film for a massive ?121 crore, leaving fans stunned.
Now, it has been confirmed that Sun TV has purchased the satellite rights for ?55 crore, taking the film’s total earnings from OTT and television deals to ?175 crore even before release.
Meanwhile, the shooting of Jananayagan is expected to be wrapped up next month, with post-production to follow.
The film features Pooja Hegde as the female lead, while Bobby Deol plays the antagonist. The supporting cast includes Mamita Baju, Priyamani, Gautham Menon, Prakash Raj, and more. Anirudh is composing the music, with Sathyan Sooryan handling cinematography and Anal Arasu choreographing the action sequences.
