Originally slated for a January release coinciding with Sankranthi festivities, the decision to defer the premiere was a strategic one, made in light of the intense box office competition during the holiday period. With several major films vying for attention, including “Guntur Kaaram,” “Hanu-Man,” “Saindhav,” and “Naa Saami Ranga,” the makers opted for a more favorable release window in April, as revealed in February.

“Family Star” holds special significance as it reunites director Parsuram with Vijay Deverakonda, following their highly successful collaboration on “Geetha Govindam” in 2018. Produced by the esteemed duo Dil Raju & Sirish, the film boasts a stellar creative team, with Gopi Sundar lending his musical prowess, KU Mohanan capturing the visuals, Marthand K Venkatesh handling editing duties, and AS Prakash overseeing production design.
