Actor and composer Vijay Antony has addressed the confusion surrounding the title Parasakthi, which was linked to both his upcoming Telugu film and a film starring Sivakarthikeyan. In a recent interview, Vijay Antony confirmed that the issue has been settled amicably, and his film will now proceed with a different title.
When asked about the title clash, he explained:
“It was an unintentional overlap. They had registered the title Parasakthi for their film without knowing I had already registered it. This kind of confusion can happen because there are two or three different title registration associations.”
He went on to say that the team behind Sivakarthikeyan’s film requested him to relinquish the title since it had already gained public recognition in association with their project.
“I agreed to give up the title without any issues. It was all resolved smoothly,” he added.
As a result, Vijay Antony’s Telugu film will now be released under a new title, putting an end to the Parasakthi title confusion.
