'Varisu' and 'Thunivu' are the two magical mantras that Tamil cinema fans are chanting non stop on social media. The films of Thalapathy Vijay and Ajith Kumar the two major superstars of Tamil cinema are releasing on the same day after eight long years since 'Jilla' and 'Veeram' clashed on Pongal 2014.
Since both the mass movies are releasing on January 12th the next couple of weeks are going to be dominated by them. Since the trailers are due soon there is going to be that much frenzy among the rival fans.
Interestingly the Ajith and Vijay clash is not going to stop with 'Thunivu' and 'Varisu' and looking at the timeline of their next projects could well continue in the next year as well. It is said that Vijay will start shooting for his next 'Thalapathy 67' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj from the first week of January.
On the other hand Ajith has also given dates for his next 'AK 62' directed by Vignesh Shivan in roughly about the same time. It is a given that news about both these super exciting projects will keep coming on a day to day basis and fans of both the megastars will be involved in fierce comparisons on social media.
It is also very likely that the other updates like the first look posters, song releases and teasers and trailers of Thalapathy 67' and 'AK 62' will also be released almost simultaneously. Industry sources also suggest that Vijay and Ajith are likely to clash again for Diwali 2023 as well. Well, one thing is for sure and that is things are heating up in Kollywood and the rivalry between these two mass heroes will only result in better films for fans as well as the general audiences.
