Global Release of Vidaamuyarchi Marks a New Milestone

The much-awaited Ajith-starrer movie “Vidaamuyarchi” has been released worldwide, creating a celebration among his fans. After overcoming several challenges, the film has successfully hit the screens globally. The premiere show began at 5 AM IST in the United States, followed by screenings in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. In Tamil Nadu, the first show started at 9 AM.

Ajith’s previous film, “Thunivu,” was released in 2023, and fans have eagerly awaited “Vidaamuyarchi” since then. Despite the first show being at 9 AM, fans began celebrating outside theaters the night before with dance and music. Trade experts anticipate a strong opening day collection as the film has been released in a significant number of theaters worldwide.

Produced by Lyca Productions, “Vidaamuyarchi” had faced multiple issues during its making. Initially, director Vignesh Shivan was set to lead the project, but he was replaced by Magizh Thirumeni. Filming started in 2023, and despite delays from a story dispute, it finally released in February 2025, though it was initially planned for a Pongal release.

The movie features an ensemble cast including Ajith, Arjun, Trisha, Regina, and Aarav. Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, with music composed by Anirudh, cinematography by Om Prakash, and editing by Sreekar Prasad, “Vidaamuyarchi” is expected to be a major hit.
