Suriya Stuns in a New Avatar as DSP in ‘Scene’ Trailer; Action-Comedy Promises a Fun Ride!

Tamil star Suriya is gearing up to entertain audiences with a completely different role in his upcoming film Scene, an action-comedy entertainer directed by Jithu Madhavan, who shot to fame with the Malayalam blockbuster Aavesham. The makers have now unveiled the film’s trailer, offering a glimpse into its quirky world filled with action, humour and unexpected twists.

Nazriya Nazim plays the female lead, while Anand Raj, Lal and Raj Priyan appear in pivotal roles. The film is produced by Jyothika and Suriya under the banners of 2D Entertainment and Jagaram Studios, with Jayashree Damodaran serving as co-producer.

The previously released title teaser and glimpse introduced audiences to the film’s unusual and entertaining world. The first two songs also received a positive response. Now, the newly released trailer has further raised expectations.

Suriya makes an impressive entry as DSP Premraj, and his appearance, body language and characterisation stand out. One of the interesting moments in the trailer comes when he is asked what he would do if he resigned from his job while being at the peak of his career. His unexpected response, “I would enter politics,” adds an entertaining touch.

Naslen, who plays Eeshwaran, also grabs attention with his intriguing character. The cat-and-mouse game between DSP Premraj and Eeshwaran, along with the challenges that unfold during their journey, forms one of the major highlights of the trailer. Nazriya Nazim’s character, presented in a housemaid’s role, also looks refreshingly different.

On the technical front, Vineeth Augustine’s cinematography adds visual appeal, while Sushin Shyam’s music elevates the action and emotional moments. The film also features editing by Ajmal Sabu and production design by Ashwini Kale.

Blending action, comedy and thrilling moments, the trailer promises an entertaining theatrical experience. Suriya’s fresh avatar and Jithu Madhavan’s distinctive storytelling style have certainly created curiosity among moviegoers.

NVR Cinema, a leading distribution house, will handle the film’s grand release across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

‘Scene’ is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on November 6, 2026, as a Diwali special.
