Shaji clarified that during that time, he and Vichithra were not even friends; their relationship was merely that of a guest and a hotel manager. He disclosed that the production company failed to settle Vichithra's room rent, intending for her to be ousted from the hotel. They also neglected to arrange flight tickets for her return to Chennai. Shaji assumed the responsibility of safely transporting the actress to the airport.
