We all know that director Vetrimaaran has been working on his upcoming directorial venture, Viduthalai, for a long time. The film went on the floors in 2020 and completed shooting in November 2022. Soori and Vijay Sethupathi play the lead roles in this movie, adapted from writer Jeyamohan’s short story named ‘Thunaivan’.
Now, it has been officially announced that the dubbing works for Viduthalai commences today. Produced by RS Infotainment and Grassroot Film Company, Red Giant Movies bagged the film’s theatrical rights. Red Giant took to social media today to share some pictures from the muhurat puja of the dubbing session. Vetrimaaran, Vijay Sethupathi and producer Elred Kumar were spotted in the images.
The makers confirmed that the film will be released in two parts by captioning the photos, “The dubbing for #Viduthalai Part-1 starts today. See you in theatres soon.” Viduthalai also stars Gautham Menon, Prakash Raj, Bhavani Sre, Rajiv Menon, Chethan and many others. Ilaiyaraaja is scoring music for the movie, which is scheduled to be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
