Meesaya Murukku 2: Adhi is Back! Fans in High Spirits

Kollywood’s “multi-talented” artist, Hiphop Tamizha Adhi, is returning to the field with a sequel to the major milestone of his cinematic journey, Meesaya Murukku. The film’s high-energy teaser has been released and is currently going viral on social media.

The original Meesaya Murukku, released in 2017, received a massive reception among the youth. Having left his mark in music, direction, and acting, Adhi has once again taken the helm to direct, star in, and compose for the sequel. The teaser confirms that this second installment will retain the same core elements as the first:Energetic music and vibrant soundtracks, A storyline blending friendship and romance, “Mass” dialogues tailored to appeal to the youth., An overall positive and upbeat approach.

Like Adhi’s previous films, this project is expected to be a complete entertainer. As a treat for fans who have been waiting a long time for updates, the film is announced for a theatrical release in Summer 2026.

The central theme of the film appears to be: “Failures may come, but standing tall and twirling your mustache (showing grit) is the ultimate swag.”
