Vetrimaaran one of the most acclaimed filmmakers in the current generation in India is a very busy man with several projects in various stages of development. He is right now focussed on the shooting of his movie 'Viduthalai' that has Soori, Bhavani Sre, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Vijay Sethupathi in the cast.

The award winning director has also written the story and screenplay for 'Adhigaaram' starring Raghava Lawrence which is directed by Durai Senthil Kumar. He is expected to direct Suriya's 'Vaadivasal' and a film starring Kamal Haasan sometime in the near future.

Meanwhile Vetrimaaran is also simultaneously working on a web series and has even shot a major portion of it. The series has Antony of 'Merkku Thodarchi Malai' and 'Writer' fame as hero. The young actors versatile performances in a serious role in the former and an out and out comic role in the latter has shown how talented he is.
