Suriya’s SCENE Title Teaser Released; Deepavali Release Locked

Kollywood star Suriya is set to entertain audiences with an exciting new action-comedy. His upcoming 47th film, which was previously referred to as #Suriya47, has now been officially titled ‘SCENE’. The makers have unveiled the title teaser along with the film’s theatrical release date.

Directed by Malayalam filmmaker Jithu Madhavan, known for films like Aavesham, SCENE stars Suriya and Nazriya Nazim in the lead roles. The film also features Anand Raj, Lal, and Raj Priyan in important roles.

The makers have announced that SCENE will release worldwide on November 6, 2026, coinciding with the Deepavali festival.

Suriya Introduced as DSP Premraj

The title teaser opens with a voiceover describing Suriya’s character as an unusual and rather peculiar police officer. His arrival at a crime scene immediately establishes the film’s quirky and humorous tone.

The teaser reveals that Suriya’s character has an eccentric personality and is described as a psycho with a strange habit of sitting in the same spot and smoking cigarettes.

The much-awaited introduction comes later, with Suriya making a powerful entry as DSP Premraj. Walking alongside a constable with his hand placed on his shoulder, Suriya delivers a punchy dialogue highlighting his extraordinary ability to track down even the most difficult criminals.

Suriya’s Mass-Packed Cop Look

Suriya dominates the teaser with his stylish screen presence and commanding attitude. His distinctive walk, body language and powerful dialogue delivery add plenty of mass appeal to the character.

Director Jithu Madhavan once again brings his trademark eccentricity to the protagonist’s characterization, promising an entertaining mix of action, comedy and quirky situations.

Strong Technical Team

The film’s technical department includes Vineeth Agustine as cinematographer, while Sushin Shyam provides the music and background score. Ajmal Sabu is handling the editing, with Ashwini Kale taking care of production design.

Produced jointly by Jyothika and Suriya under Zhagaram Studios and 2D Entertainment, with Jayashree Damodaran as co-producer, SCENE is shaping up as a major Deepavali release.

The title teaser has already generated strong excitement among Suriya’s fans. With the actor returning in a stylish cop avatar and Jithu Madhavan bringing his distinctive filmmaking style, SCENE is gearing up for a grand worldwide theatrical release on November 6, 2026.
