A.V.M. Saravanan (86), Director and veteran producer of the famous film production company, A.V.M. Productions, passed away in Chennai due to ill health. Film personalities and fans are mourning his demise.

The Contribution of a Veteran Producer:

A.V.M. Saravanan, along with his brothers, led the renowned A.V.M. company—founded by A.V. Meiyappan Chettiar—for several decades. He played a crucial role behind the scenes in countless successful films produced by the company.

The films he directly produced, released in languages including Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, had a significant impact on the Indian film industry. AVM holds the distinction of producing films for leading actors in Tamil cinema like M.G.R., Sivaji Ganesan, Kamal Haasan, and Rajinikanth, delivering many blockbuster hits.
