Bollywood stars Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor’s younger brother, actor - director Rajiv Kapoor passed away earlier today. It was only last year during the lockdown that the family lost Rishi Kapoor.

As per reports, the 58 year old Rajiv Kapoor had suffered a massive cardiac arrest, and immediately his brother Randhir Kapoor had rushed him to Inlaks Hospital, which is located close to their residence in Chembur.

However, unfortunately the doctors declared Rajiv Kapoor dead on arrival. Randhir Kapoor has confirmed the sad news, and has said "I have lost my youngest brother, Rajiv. He is no more. The doctors tried their best but could not save him". Rajiv Kapoor is best known for movies such as 'Ram Teri Ganga Maili' and has directed 'Prem Granth' starring Rishi Kapoor.
